Preparations are in full swing for the much-anticipated annual sports festival, Umang 2025, set to take place at the Loknayak Jai Prakash Institute of Technology (LNJPIT), Chhapra Campus. This grand event is scheduled from January 9 to January 12, 2025, in accordance with the guidelines of the Department of Science, Technology, and Technical Education. The festival will witness enthusiastic participation from students and  faculty representing Government Engineering College, Gopalganj, Government Engineering College, Siwan, and LNJPIT, Chhapra. This divisional-level sports extravaganza will feature over 350 participants showcasing their skills in an impressive lineup of 43 games, including kabaddi, cricket, table tennis, chess, javelin throw, volleyball, and many more. The inaugural ceremony will be graced by the esteemed Principal, Dr. Mithilesh Kumar Singh, on January 9, 2025, at the LNJPIT Chhapra Campus. This promises to be a memorable celebration of sportsmanship and talent, uniting the Saran division under the spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.
